Why PRF?

Projahnmo Research Foundation (PRF), a Bangladeshi NGO, is dedicated to the improvement of health and survival of mothers, new-borns, children and their families by conducting high priority translational research, design and testing of interventions and providing policy and program supports to Bangladesh Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MOH&FW) and the World Health Organization. PRF has established partnership with the MOH&FW, several other Bangladeshi NGOs and the Johns Hopkins University in USA. The Projahnmo partnership has been maintaining a state-of-the-art rural research site in Sylhet as well as an urban research site in Gazipur district of Bangladesh. Beginning in 2001, Projahnmo has conducted several high quality and high impact clinical and epidemiological studies, the results of which were extensively published in top ranking international journals and influenced the global and national health policies..
